TRAINING EXPECTATIONS

Our club is committed to creating a positive, enjoyable and supportive environment where every swimmer has the opportunity to develop and achieve their potential.

ATTEND CONSISTENTLY
Swimmers are expected to attend all training sessions available to them wherever possible.

BE PREPARED
Arrive ready to train and give your best effort throughout each session.

BE POSITIVE
Approach training with a positive attitude and a willingness to learn.

SHOW RESPECT
Good behaviour and a supportive attitude creates a better environment for everyone.

We understand there will be occasions when a swimmer cannot attend. If this happens, parents or swimmers should update Spond so the coaching team is aware of the absence.

As a competitive swimming club, our training programme is carefully structured to help swimmers develop their skills, fitness and confidence. Consistent attendance, a positive attitude and good behaviour all play an important part in getting the most from training.

We recognise that everyone's “best” can look different from day to day. What matters is arriving ready to train, giving your best effort and being willing to learn.
